Join Our client as a Registered Nurse for a crucial Medical Chart Reviewer role. Focus on ensuring coding accuracy, compliance, and detecting potential fraud, waste, or abuse (FWA) in medical records and healthcare claims. 🔹 **Key Responsibilities:**
- Validate clinical and coding accuracy in records and claims.
- Audit high-risk claims for billing irregularities.
- Collaborate with the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) on FWA cases.
- Generate detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
- Engage in provider calls to present review results.
- Assist in compliance, legal reviews, and documentation.
- Maintain thorough investigation documentation.
- Keep updated on coding guidelines and FWA trends.
- Complete assigned projects and audits. 🔹 **Required Qualifications:**
- Active New York State RN License.
- Strong clinical knowledge for accurate diagnoses assessment.
- Experience in medical coding, billing audits, and fraud detection preferred.
